Is Having Pets in Cambodia Expensive or Cheap? | Pet Care | Rescue Cat | Pet Shots

Meet Sky. 💙

I found him in our school’s backyard — tiny, crying, and wandering around as if he had been searching for his mother for a long time. His little meows were so desperate and heartbreaking that I couldn’t ignore them. I checked the entire area, asked around, and waited to see if his mother or any owner would appear… but no one came. It became clear that he was alone, scared, and in need of someone to care for him.

So I picked him up gently and brought him home.

From the moment I held him, he stopped crying. It felt like he knew he was finally safe. And in a way, I think God sent him to me at the perfect time — a reminder of how He watches over the lost, the abandoned, and the vulnerable. In my Cat Theology reflections, I often say that we humans are like these tiny kittens… thinking we can survive on our own, only to discover that we truly need Someone bigger, kinder, and wiser to rescue us.

Sky is now part of our little family, and watching him settle in so quickly melts my heart every day. I’m grateful I found him. Or maybe… he found me. 😽

Here’s to new beginnings, unexpected blessings, and the gentle ways God shows His love — sometimes through a small kitten with a big cry.
